The Bench

Deep Bench History

DBweb_aboutDBhomepage

Deep Bench is a strategic consultancy committed to strengthening its clients’ brand awareness, brand loyalty and grassroots community organization both in the online media world and in good old fashioned real life.

Using innovative strategies across any and all media fronts, Deep Bench conducts in-depth research and analysis to determine a company’s brand strength, and then builds off of that research to take that brand to the next level.

With creative work coming from a network of talented freelance creatives from around the world, Deep Bench is able to assemble a team that focuses solely on you and your brand. Whether it’s creative work done by people right here in the Sioux Falls region, or unique designs from a freelancer in Argentina, Deep Bench lives up to its name by providing multiple options to give you the best the world has to offer.

And with a bench that deep, why go with anything less?

Hugh Weber

DBweb_hughhomepage Hugh Weber is more than a man. And he’s more than the President of Deep Bench. That’s because he’s also the Head Coach and driving force behind the passionate and innovative approaches we take to marketing research and strategy.

Hugh’s résumé is extensive (and you can take a look at it here), but chances are you’d have a better understanding of Hugh and Deep Bench as a whole by dropping him an email, giving him a call, or meeting with him in person.

Hugh has worked with and within businesses of all types, from biofuels and hospital systems to small non-profits and churches, so he has a variety of experience (and a deep bench of knowledge in that forward-thinking head of his).

Mike Billeter

DBweb_mike Andrew and Mike are two of Deep Bench’s two employees. A creative one-two punch of stellar graphic design work and thoughtful online content, Andrew and Mike bring a unique style to the Deep Bench team that provides relevance, humor and authenticity in more ways than one.

Whether it’s a breast-cancer awareness logo of a piggy bank wearing a bra or our weekly Box Scores blog recap, Mike and Andrew know how to keep things fresh and engaging for anyone who takes an interest in Deep Bench. Combined with Hugh’s vision and leadership, that’s an unstoppable combination and serious force to be reckoned with.

Teammates

DBweb_handsinhomepageGood teammates are hard to come by, and we here at Deep Bench value our teammates more than anything else in our organization. A wide array of individuals and companies make up our stellar team, whether it’s clients, potential clients, vendors, thought leaders, personal heroes or simply people we meet on the street, we know and appreciate the value of working with good people who want to do great things. We aren’t shy in expressing the fact that we rely on our “deep bench” to create innovative, inspiring and impressive work for all of our clients, so our teammates are the keys to our success. As we continue updating and upgrading this site, we’ll provide more content and information on our teammates.

Our mission is to help underdogs become overachievers with a “Work. Play. Do good.” approach. With the vast array of top-notch teammates we work with, we get the opportunity to make it happen every day. We’re thankful for that, and we’re always looking to add to our roster. Drop us a line. We’ll be waiting for you.

It’s one thing to claim you’re a thought leader. It’s another thing to prove you’re a thought leader by providing current, relevant content as it relates to the industry. Of course, industry-talk is only so appealing, so we try to incorporate a bit of the human touch in what we create. Whether it’s a blog post by Mike relating music and comic books to social media or a video post by Hugh about augmented reality, we strive to bring intelligent commentary that isn’t the same old regurgitated post you see from other folks in the industry.

From our weekly Box Scores you’ll find every Monday morning to our posts featuring client work recaps and event summaries, we’ll do our best to fill your brains (and RSS readers) with insightful thoughts and ideas that you can actually put to use in your daily work life.
